Cancellation Policy

At Shutter&Soull, we strive to offer flexibility while respecting the value of our time and services. Please review the following guidelines for cancellations and rescheduling.

1. Client-Initiated Cancellations

  • Cancellations Made 2 Days or More Before the Session:

    • A full refund of the deposit will be issued.

  • Cancellations Made Less Than 2 Days Before the Session:

    • The deposit is non-refundable.

  • No-Show Policy:

    • Failure to attend the session without prior notice will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

2. Rescheduling

  • Reschedule Requests Made 24 Hours or More in Advance:

    • One complimentary reschedule is allowed at no additional cost.

  • Reschedule Requests Made Less Than 24 Hours in Advance:

    • A $10 rescheduling fee will apply.

3. Photographer-Initiated Cancellations

In the rare event that Shutter&Soull must cancel a session:

  • Clients will receive a full refund of any deposit made.

  • Assistance will be provided to reschedule the session at the client’s convenience.

  • If rescheduling is not possible, clients may opt for a full refund or transfer the amount as credit for future services.

4. Weather or Emergency Situations

  • For outdoor sessions, cancellations due to adverse weather conditions (e.g., storms, heavy rain) will not incur penalties. The session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

  • If you or the photographer experience an emergency (e.g., illness), we will work together to reschedule at the earliest possible date.

5. Refunds

  • Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 5-7 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used.
